Turkey's State Grain Board (TMO) provisionally purchased 12,000 tonnes of crude sunflower oil in an international tender held on September 10, according to agricultural consultancy UkrAgroConsult.
The procurement was split between two suppliers. Around 3,000 tonnes were secured from Pamyag at an estimated price of US$1,408.5 per tonne on a C&F basis, while the remaining 9,000 tonnes were bought from Aves at US$1,399 per tonne C&F.
The tender specified a shipment window running from September 21 to October 16, reflecting relatively tight delivery timelines and underscoring continued Turkish demand for Black Sea vegetable oil imports.
