High-Level Meetings
A delegation from the Bureau paid an official visit to Sierra Leone at the invitation of its government, holding a series of high-level meetings. The most notable of these was a meeting with His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. The meeting addressed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in key areas including agriculture, food manufacturing and logistics services, with particular focus on palm oil import and refining projects as a central pillar of future cooperation between the two countries.
Sharing Expertise And Supporting Development
President Bio praised Egypt's pivotal role in supporting development efforts across the African continent. For its part, the Future Bureau delegation affirmed its full commitment to transferring Egypt's distinguished national expertise in managing large-scale agricultural projects, developing food supply chains, and localising related industries in Sierra Leone.
