Athletic Brewing Company, one of the leading non-alcoholic craft brewers in the United States, has partnered with premium extra virgin olive oil producer Graza to launch Cold Off The Press, a non-alcoholic pilsner brewed with extra virgin olive oil. The collaboration marks a creative crossover between two brands that have built their identities on reinventing everyday consumer staples.

The new pilsner is described as bright, smooth, and clean, featuring floral, herbal, and lemon aromatics with a notably dry finish. The brewing process begins with Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which feeds and nourishes the yeast during fermentation, although the finished beer is not designed to taste of olive oil itself. Athletic's brewing team worked through multiple iterations to balance the contribution of the oil with a flavor profile that complements a wide range of foods.

Cold Off The Press is available in six-packs of 12-ounce cans through www.athleticbrewing.com beginning September 23, while supplies last.

John Walker, Co-Founder and COO of Athletic Brewing Company, said: 'We love collaborations that push us outside the traditional boundaries of brewing. The folks at Graza share our passion for great flavor and questioning how familiar products are supposed to look, taste, and feel. There was a natural creative chemistry between our teams, and Cold Off The Press gave us a chance to bring that shared curiosity into the brewhouse, challenge ourselves to think differently, and create something entirely new. We're always willing to chase an idea that sounds a little wild if we believe it can lead somewhere delicious, and this one absolutely did.'

Andrew Benin, CEO and Co-Founder of Graza, added: 'We're constantly looking for creative ways to show how versatile olive oil can be, and we loved the idea of taking it somewhere completely new. Athletic brings the same energy, curiosity, and attention to ingredients and flavor that we do. Cold Off The Press is super drinkable and one of the more deliciously adventurous places we've taken olive oil.'

The name Cold Off The Press plays on the cold-pressing technique used to produce extra virgin olive oil, paired with the crisp refreshment of a cold-brewed pilsner. According to both companies, the result is a 'grove-to-glass' beverage designed to pair well with pizza, grilled vegetables, salty snacks, large sandwiches, charcuterie, and other casual fare.

Founded in 2018, Athletic Brewing has developed a proprietary process for producing non-alcoholic beer, re-engineering most steps of conventional brewing through extensive small-batch experimentation. The company has since become the most awarded non-alcoholic brewer of the past decade, with more than 200 taste awards to its name.
