Team Lead Planning

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands (head office at Delftseplein, city centre; partial work from home)

As Team Lead Planning you’ll play a key role in ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll lead a planning team focused on maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet sales demand, balancing service excellence with cost efficiency. You’ll coordinate the timely and cost-effective delivery of products and feedstocks from Wilmar Singapore and develop master production schedules for both in-house and tolling production sites. The role manages a team of three and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the end-to-end planning process, including the inbound supply plan for imported products and the master production schedule for production and tolling sites.
• Lead, facilitate, develop, motivate and appraise the planning team, setting SMART team and individual goals.
• Manage own portfolio.
• Manage the allocation process and escalate demand issues.
• Continuously develop and improve planning-related processes and systems.
• Be the Business Process Owner for planning.
• Ensure inventory levels (DQO), product availability (OTIF) and other planning KPIs are met.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment with all internal disciplines and stakeholders to improve cooperation and business results.
• Respect and contribute to the Supply Chain Blueprint.
