Salary: $76,120 – $85,680 per year, plus an annual incentive bonus
A Day in the Life: Responsible for the safe and efficient supervision of the day-to-day assigned Crush, Refinery, or Packaging production operations department shift, and for supporting the Production Operations Manager in monitoring and improving plant productivity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and everyone shares the goal of zero injuries.
- Oversee assigned production shift activities (crush, refinery, milling, packaging, warehouse, boiler house and/or elevator) to keep operations running at the highest efficiency.
- Ensure the shift complies with sanitation requirements and support monthly sanitation inspections and corrective actions.
- Supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture, continually improve the site's food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Track and report shift productivity improvements; approve daily reports and KPRs for the shift.
- Report and troubleshoot operations issues.
- Provide input to the Production Operations Manager and/or Plant Manager on planning annual shutdowns.
- Support Process Safety Management programs where applicable, and work with the Safety/Environmental Manager to keep the shift compliant.
- Help develop and drive Operations Excellence Plans to meet safety, quality and production goals, acting as a change agent for continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPRs and help develop plans to bring the shift in line with Operations Excellence goals.
- Participate in daily production meetings to keep shift activities aligned.
- Participate in personnel investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
