For its Neuss site, Bunge is looking for a committed Junior Trader / Sourcing Specialist for oils and fats. In this key role you will be responsible for sourcing raw materials for Bunge's refining operations and actively help secure its competitiveness, working closely with Trading, Supply Chain, Sales and Pricing to optimize the value chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Source raw materials and oils for the refineries, balancing security of supply and cost optimization.
  • Maintain and grow an international network of suppliers, traders and business partners.
  • Support management of daily long/short positions and raw material balancing.
  • Monitor and analyze market and price developments.
  • Provide market information and recommendations to internal stakeholders and key customers.
  • Support the development and execution of hedging strategies.
  • Help develop new sourcing and marketing opportunities.
  • Work closely with Trading, Supply Chain, Pricing and Sales.
  • Support various sourcing and trading activities across the organization.

متطلبات الوظيفة — JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in business administration, economics, agribusiness or a similar field with a focus on finance or trading.
  • Initial experience in trading, purchasing, supply chain, commodity management or a similar commercial role is an advantage.
  • Technical understanding of raw materials, food or production processes is an advantage.
  • Confident use of MS Office and experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Team spirit and strong service orientation; strong organization and planning skills.
  • Structured, independent way of working with high initiative and a hands-on mentality.
  • Resilience and composure under time pressure.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial, can-do mindset.
  • Fluent German and very good English.
