The hybrid offers several advantages, including high yields, an elevated oil content, and genetic resistance to pests and diseases. It also features a unique composition that eliminates the need for manual hydrogenation, though it requires spatial isolation to prevent cross-pollination. Experts believe this development could reduce Russia's dependence on palm oil imports and boost sunflower oil sales, potentially positioning Russia as a global leader in sunflower oil supply.
