In recent years, European Union and Asian countries have topped the list of the largest buyers of Ukrainian oils, and November 2025 was no exception. More than 50% of the oils exported went to the European Union, while Asian countries accounted for 43.6%. This is according to a report by AgroDigest, which tracks monthly changes in Ukrainian agricultural trade.
In November 2025, the strongest demand for Ukrainian oils came from the Netherlands, Spain and Poland. The bulk of soybean oil exports went to Poland, although shipments to other EU countries were also brisk.
Over the past month, soybean oil exports fell by 17.1% to 39,800 tonnes. By contrast, sunflower oil exports rose by 10.6% to reach 409,300 tonnes, while rapeseed oil recorded the sharpest decline, down 26.8%.
As for sunflower oil, the bulk of supplies were directed to EU countries and Asia. Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and India were among the largest buyers of Ukrainian sunflower oil in November. African countries do not represent a major sales market, as most of them purchase only small quantities.
