Crude palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives are expected to trade higher next week, supported by rising crude oil prices amid the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran, a trader said.
David Ng, a trader at Iceberg X, said the continuing geopolitical conflict in the Middle East has pushed up crude oil prices, which in turn is supporting palm oil prices. He added that signs of weaker output are also expected to bolster the market's position.
He told Malaysian news agency Bernama: "We expect prices to trade in the range of 4,200 to 4,450 ringgit per tonne next week."
March 2026 up 261 to 4,250 ringgit per tonne
April 2026 up 306 to 4,336 ringgit
May 2026 up 325 to 4,367 ringgit
June 2026 up 229 to 4,275 ringgit
July 2026 up 322 to 4,365 ringgit
