Kingdom Konsult, a Qatar-based boutique advisory firm specializing in sustainability, the circular economy, and energy transition, has officially signed an exclusive strategic alliance with The Biofuel Company of Saudi Arabia. This landmark partnership is designed to introduce B100 biofuel to the Qatari market, marking a significant step forward for the region's renewable energy landscape.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kingdom Konsult will lead market growth initiatives, engage with key stakeholders, and identify commercial opportunities on behalf of The Biofuel Company. The advisory firm will act as a vital link, connecting the Saudi firm's manufacturing capacity, technical expertise, and supply chain strength with diverse enterprises across Qatar.
In return, The Biofuel Company will supply B100 volumes while providing the necessary technical knowledge, international certifications, product documentation, and comprehensive rollout assistance. The alliance's primary focus will be the real-world deployment of B100 across both public and private sectors in Qatar, directly supporting the nation's strategic goals for decarbonization, energy diversification, and infrastructure resilience.
For organizations managing vehicle fleets and heavy machinery that traditionally rely on diesel, B100 offers a viable alternative fuel path to significantly lower carbon emissions without compromising daily operational demands. The timing of this tie-up is particularly relevant as energy security and supply diversification become increasingly critical priorities amidst shifts in global energy markets.
The two firms plan to target opportunities involving government and semi-government entities, as well as sectors such as transportation, logistics, industrial operations, infrastructure, education, construction, hospitality, and major sporting events. Beyond immediate distribution, they will explore pilot schemes and demonstrations to pave the way for full commercial-scale rollouts, enabling organizations to seamlessly integrate sustainable fuels into their business models.
Katina Aghayan, Chairman and Founder of Kingdom Konsult, expressed pride in pioneering the introduction of B100 biofuel to Qatar through this alliance. She noted that biofuel and alternative energy solutions are no longer just about sustainability, but are increasingly tied to geopolitical resilience and the demand for dependable, diversified energy. Aghayan highlighted that the alliance creates a robust connection between Saudi biofuel expertise and the Qatari market, showcasing how GCC cooperation can drive tangible execution in the energy transition.
Abdullah Al Otaibi, CEO of The Biofuel Company of Saudi Arabia, welcomed the partnership, stating that the collaboration merges the firm's technical and production strengths with Kingdom Konsult's deep market insights. Furthermore, Gary Hubbard, SVP Commercial & Operations at The Biofuel Company, emphasized that B100 provides a practical solution for organizations seeking to shrink their carbon footprint while maintaining operational practicality, noting that the partnership aims to showcase the environmental and commercial value of biofuels to the Qatari market.
