The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry said a business group is interested in entering the Tunisian market and investing in the olive oil sector.
The proposed projects would cover several stages of the value chain, including planting, purchasing, milling, storage, bottling, refining, and olive pomace processing.
The chamber said the investment interest reflects the strong appeal of Tunisian olive oil in global markets and could open new economic opportunities for the sector.
It added that the meeting forms part of its strategy to promote national products and support exporters.
