Dr. Ibrahim Farouk

Dr. Ibrahim Farouk is an expert in renewable energy and the production of biodiesel biofuel in particular, with hands-on experience in business management and in mentoring start-ups and investment, with a focus on how companies grow. He has worked as a trainer and business mentor with a number of international organizations (UNDP, UKAID, USAID) within entrepreneurship programs across several Arab countries, in addition to diverse experience across various fields (such as insurance, financing systems, media, quality control, project management, training management, sustainable development, export and import, trade and distribution, and digital marketing) owing to the nature of his work, with combined experience of more than 25 years across several countries including Jordan, Egypt, the Gulf and Europe.

He currently serves as Managing Director of Bio Rotterdam, which provides renewable energy consulting to a number of companies (Power Green, Al-Haramain Oleochemicals in Egypt) and others.
