"Djazagro" is the leading trade fair in North Africa, considered an indispensable event due to its comprehensive international offerings covering six sectors: manufacturing, packaging, bakery and confectionery, food products and beverages, ingredients and flavors, hospitality and food service, and hygiene.
The exhibition's name is derived from "Djazair," which means "Algeria" in the Algerian Arabic dialect, and "agro," which symbolizes the agri-food sector. Djazagro was founded in 2003 in Algiers.
The exhibition is held annually at the Palais des Expositions (SAFEX) in Algiers. Djazagro exhibitors — all exclusively manufacturers — cater to the needs of approximately 23,000 professional visitors seeking technical knowledge, machinery, and partnerships, all working towards developing agri-food production in Africa.
The next edition of the exhibition is scheduled to take place from April 12 to 15, 2026.
