Dr. Amani Mohamed Bassiouni

Professor of Biochemistry and former Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Head of the Nutrition Department at the National Institute of Ageing Sciences, Beni Suef University. A member of the scientific committee for the promotion of professors and associate professors at the Supreme Council of Universities. President of the Egyptian Women’s Olive Oil Network. She has numerous papers published in international journals in the fields of biochemistry, nutrition, antioxidants, bioactive compounds, olive oil, and oils and fats. She has supervised many master’s and doctoral theses, participates in many scientific projects and in numerous national and international conferences, and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several international journals.
