In Ukraine's export market for crude sunflower oil, bid prices have reached a new record high since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, according to agronews.ua.
This is attributed to strong interest from exporters looking to purchase the oil against limited available supply, a pattern typical of this stage of the season.
As of 14 August 2025, bid prices for sunflower oil stood at $1,185 per tonne (FOB port), up $35 per tonne compared with prices quoted at the start of the month.
Notably, bid prices at similar levels were last recorded in early September 2021.
