According to Ukraine's State Customs Service, the country's sunflower oil exports totalled around 2.407 million tonnes between January and June 2025, generating revenues of $2.77 billion, according to the press office of Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada.

Spain and Italy were among the largest buyers of Ukrainian sunflower oil during this period, accounting for 12.88% and 12.18% of total exports respectively, followed by India with 11.77%. These countries spent $356.945 million, $337.494 million and $326.071 million respectively on purchases of Ukrainian sunflower oil.

By contrast, exports of rapeseed oil fell 3.6-fold over the same period compared with January-June 2024, dropping to just 19,992 tonnes, which caused revenues to decline 2.9-fold to $58.015 million.
