Pacific Inter-Link (PIL) has achieved a major milestone with the departure of its largest-ever palm oil shipment, carrying 70,000 tonnes (MT) of palm oil from Port Klang, Malaysia. The shipment reinforces PIL's position as a global leader in the palm oil industry, reflecting its logistical strength and commitment to efficiently meeting international demand.
Vijayaa Kumaran, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Westports Malaysia, praised the achievement, highlighting the role of improved regional logistics in facilitating global trade.
As a certified member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), PIL continues to prioritise sustainability and responsible sourcing, further strengthening its reputation within the industry.
This landmark shipment reflects PIL's growth and its future plans to invest in logistics, innovation and sustainability to meet global market demands.
