Oiltek, an integrated provider of processing technologies and renewable energy solutions, announced on Monday 18 August that it had secured new contracts in Malaysia, Pakistan and Indonesia worth RM74.3 million Malaysian ringgit (equivalent to about S$22.7 million).
The contracts include:
The design, fabrication and commissioning of a 200-tonne-per-day physical refining plant in Pakistan.
An anaerobic digester tank – which operates in the absence of oxygen – for a palm oil-linked facility in Malaysia.
A filling line for a coating plant in Indonesia.
This brings the cumulative value of contracts secured by the group so far in financial year 2025 to around RM136.2 million.
The company's current order book stands at approximately RM398.2 million, and is expected to be executed over the next 18 to 24 months, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Henry Yong, Oiltek's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said the move reflects the company's diverse geographical footprint and innovative capabilities, enabling it to seize growth opportunities and strengthen its market share even amid a volatile macroeconomic environment.
The new contracts are expected to have a positive impact on the group's financial performance for the financial year ending 31 December.
