
Indonesia exported 2.99 million tonnes of palm oil in July, up 69% from 1.77 million tonnes a year earlier, though slightly down from June's 3.04 million tonnes, according to analysts at Germany's Oil World.
The country's main export destinations were India with 655,000 tonnes, of which 621,000 tonnes was crude palm oil, followed by China with 388,000 tonnes, Pakistan with 361,000 tonnes, and the European Union with 194,000 tonnes.
According to Indonesia's Central Statistics Agency (Badan Pusat Statistik, BPS), the country exported 13.64 million tonnes of crude and refined palm oil between January and July, up 10.95% year-on-year.
