Financial indicators for Misr Oils and Soap Company showed a 6,609% year-on-year increase in net profit during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
In a statement to the Egyptian Exchange today, the company said it posted a net profit of 18.45 million Egyptian pounds for the period from July to the end of March 2025, compared with a profit of 275,000 pounds in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company's revenue for the first nine months of the current fiscal year stood at around 2.36 billion pounds, compared with 2.38 billion pounds in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
It is worth noting that Misr Oils and Soap recorded losses of 16.08 million pounds from the beginning of July to the end of December 2024, compared with a profit of 850,000 pounds in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The company's revenue for that period rose to 1.53 billion pounds, compared with 1.51 billion pounds in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
