M11 Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd., a prominent renewable energy firm, has received recognition from the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) as the leading exporter of biofuel for the fiscal year 2025-26. The company operates an integrated, large-scale biodiesel production facility situated at Padubidri in the Udupi district.
This significant acknowledgement underscores M11 Energy's vital contribution to the biofuel export ecosystem. Mannan Khan, director at M11 Energy Transition Pvt. Ltd., noted in a recent statement that this recognition coincides with coastal Karnataka's emergence as a key center for renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and robust clean-fuel supply chains.
At its Padubidri site, M11 Energy successfully transforms Used Cooking Oil (UCO) into biodiesel. This process exemplifies a circular economy framework by repurposing a waste product into a viable alternative fuel. The Padubidri facility is also integral to the company's broader clean-energy objectives. M11 Energy is actively exploring prospects in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), demonstrating its commitment to advancing the next generation of lower-carbon fuels and supporting India's evolving energy transition requirements, according to the company's release.
