Egypt’s Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade announced that, as part of cooperation with the private sector and the use of modern marketing channels, products from the Holding Company for Food Industries are now being offered on Amazon Egypt.
The move comes under the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, to expand marketing and distribution channels for Holding Company for Food Industries products and reach a wider consumer base through modern platforms.
The Holding Company for Food Industries said it has started offering a variety of its products on Amazon Egypt.
This cooperation is the result of coordination between the Holding Company for Food Industries and Amazon Egypt.
It reflects the importance of partnership with the private sector and the use of modern digital marketing and e-commerce tools.
The step also supports the presence of high-quality national products on electronic platforms and expands access to consumers.
The products offered on the platform include a wide range of basic food and non-food commodities, as well as cleaning and personal-care products and other consumer goods.
The company said these products are characterized by high quality and competitive prices, meeting the needs of different consumer groups.
The Holding Company for Food Industries said the move is part of its efforts to make products available to citizens in easier and more convenient ways.
It will continue developing cooperation with major commercial entities and global digital platforms to strengthen the presence of local products, reflect the quality of Egyptian industry, and support the state’s digital transformation and e-commerce plans.
