
According to weekly export sales data released by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), net sales of US soybean meal for the 2025/2026 marketing year totalled around 616,000 tonnes for the week ending 11 December 2025, up from 275,000 tonnes the previous week.
Since the start of the season, total soybean meal shipments have risen 10% year on year. The USDA forecasts a 5% increase for the full year.
Net soybean oil sales since the start of December stood at 8,600 tonnes, higher than the 1,200 tonnes recorded the previous week, but below market expectations.
Since the start of the season, total soybean oil export sales have fallen 57% year on year, compared with the USDA's forecast of a 64% decline for the full year.
