Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities has launched two tenders for the supply of crude oil, as follows:
Tender No. 5 for the 2024-2025 period was issued for the supply of local crude oil in Egyptian pounds on behalf of the Holding Company for Food Industries, with a required quantity of 1,000 tonnes of soybean oil.
In a statement on Sunday, the authority said offers can be submitted for the full quantity or part of it, with delivery to take place between 1 and 31 January 2025.
The authority added that the bid-opening and adjudication session will be held next Tuesday at 12 noon at its headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, noting that "the remaining terms and specifications are in accordance with the tender document available at the authority's headquarters."

The General Authority for Supply Commodities also issued Tender No. 6 for the 2024/2025 period for imported crude oil, covering the supply of 30,000 tonnes of imported crude soybean oil and 10,000 tonnes of crude sunflower oil.
In a statement on Sunday, the authority said offers can be submitted for the full quantity or part of it, with a minimum of 5,000 tonnes, noting that the arrival period runs from 1 to 15 January 2025.
The authority stated: "Offer prices are to be submitted on a C&F basis, payable At Sight, with financing from the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation."
The authority noted that the bid-opening session will be held on 15 October, at 12 noon, followed by the adjudication session at its headquarters in the government district of the New Administrative Capital.
