
Cairo Oil and Soap Company's consolidated financial statements showed a swing from profit to loss year-on-year for the financial period from the start of January to the end of September 2025.
In a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange on Thursday, the company reported a net loss of EGP60.42 million for the first nine months of the current year. This compares with net profit of EGP121.81 million for the same period last year, reflecting a deterioration in the company's financial performance.
Revenue also fell notably during the period, dropping to EGP589.13 million compared with EGP790.8 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
