The financial results of Extracted Oils and Products Company for the fiscal year ended June 2025 showed a sharp 251% year-on-year rise in profit.
In a statement to the Egyptian Exchange today, the company said it achieved profit of around 30.71 million Egyptian pounds for the period from July 2024 to the end of June 2025, compared with net profit of 8.74 million pounds in the previous fiscal year.
In contrast, the company's revenue edged down slightly to 3.64 billion pounds, compared with 3.67 billion pounds in the previous fiscal year.
The company attributed the jump in profit to increased production outside the rationed supply system, in addition to toll-processing activity for third parties without incurring financial burdens specific to the detergents, oils and feed sectors.
The data also showed that the company recorded net profit of 1.37 million pounds for the period from July to March 2025, compared with 8.32 million pounds for the same period of the previous fiscal year, while nine-month revenue fell to 2.53 billion pounds, compared with 2.89 billion pounds in the corresponding period of the previous year.
