We are searching for an exceptional Stock Controller to join our vibrant Sales/Retail team in Dakahlia, Egypt. This is a pivotal full-time, on-site role where you'll be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring our products are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

Overview: As our Stock Controller, you will be instrumental in managing our inventory, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our retail operations. You'll play a critical role in maintaining accuracy, preventing discrepancies, and supporting our sales objectives through meticulous stock management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily stock movement, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions using our systems, ensuring data integrity.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and retail teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Implement and monitor effective stock control procedures to minimize loss, damage, and obsolescence.
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock rotation, and other relevant metrics for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational standards within the stockroom.

Skills & Technologies: A strong foundation in stock control and accounting principles; proficiency in inventory management, supply chain management, and basic logistics; data entry, advanced Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems. Attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving, and clear communication are key.

  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles as they relate to inventory.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
