Report quality-assurance results and follow up chemical analyses through all production stages up to the finished product.
Take and analyse samples, prepare reports and report results throughout production up to the finished product.
Monitor incoming raw materials, run the necessary trials, and check outputs against the required specifications.
Write daily, monthly and annual consumption and production reports and submit them to the direct manager.
Track performance rates, losses and consumption of processing aids.
Review production lines' operating conditions and equipment to ensure the required quality.
Compile production statistics in daily, weekly and monthly reports for the production manager.
Follow industrial safety instructions and the food safety programme objectives.
Cover the production manager's duties in their absence.
Tour departments to check that staff follow work instructions and record any observations.
