The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) is organizing the 22nd edition of the Indonesian Palm Oil Conference and 2027 Price Outlook (IPOC 2026), taking place on 11–13 November 2026 at the Bali International Convention Center (BICC), The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. Held annually, the conference is regarded as one of the leading global forums for the palm oil sector, bringing together researchers, economists and policymakers to deliver market analysis, price forecasts and regulatory updates, alongside perspectives from major importing countries.
Conference Theme
This edition is held under the theme "Palm Oil in a Fragmented World: Securing Food, Energy, and Economic Resilience", reflecting the challenge facing an industry that must navigate an increasingly divided global trade landscape while meeting food security, energy transition and sustainable development goals at the same time.
Background
Palm oil is the world's most widely produced vegetable oil, meeting around 40% of global edible oil demand from less than 6% of total oil-crop land. As the world's largest producer and exporter, Indonesia plays a pivotal role in shaping market dynamics at a time when supply-demand balances are increasingly sensitive to policy decisions, sustainability requirements in importing markets are tightening, geopolitical tensions are redrawing trade flows, and the energy transition is creating new sources of demand.
