APK-Inform is organizing the 25th International Conference "Fat & Oil Industry 2026", taking place on October 30, 2026 in Kyiv, Ukraine. For a quarter of a century, the conference has been the flagship gathering for the oils and fats sector in the Black Sea region, and the preliminary programme for this edition has now been announced.
Opening Session
The conference opens with a special presentation, "Ukraine's Oils and Fats Industry amid the Logistics Crisis: Strategic Vision and Tactical Solutions", delivered by Stepan Kapshuk, Director General of the Ukroliyaprom Association.
Conference Programme
The programme features a market panel, two panel discussions, and a legal seminar:
- Market panel: "Transformation of the Global Oils Market amid Turbulent Geopolitics" — covering the global vegetable oils and oilseeds market and the impact of limited Black Sea supply, development scenarios for Ukraine's oilseed and processed products market in the 2026/27 marketing year, and EU oil demand and competition among suppliers.
- Panel discussion 1: "Export Prospects: What and Where to Ship This Season?" — on alternative export routes for Ukrainian raw materials and finished products, domestic logistics bottlenecks, rail operations under current conditions, cooperation with the EU, and potential sales markets and how to work with them.
- Panel discussion 2: "Challenges and Development Paths for Domestic Processing amid Blocked Ports: New Growth Points and Where the Margin Is Hidden" — on strategies for growing domestic oilseed crushing under export restrictions, the outlook for deep oilseed processing, and the role of niche crops in today's market.
- AGA Partners legal seminar: "Legal Aspects of Trade in Oils and Fats Products amid Increased Wartime Risks".
