Costing Supervisor

• Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• Analyze product costs, manufacturing processes, and overhead expenses to determine cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Prepare and maintain cost accounting records and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Develop cost estimation models and tools to support pricing decisions and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather cost data and evaluate cost impact of design changes and process improvements.
• Monitor inventory levels and valuation methods to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Provide cost-related support and analysis for strategic projects and initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cost accounting matters and provide training and guidance to other departments as needed.
